The Kissimmee Juneteenth Festival is a community celebration of African American culture, including live music from the 69 Boys and Tyesha Williams and entertainment from comedian Tight Mike, delicious food, crafts from local vendors, and exciting giveaways commemorating the commemoration of the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in 1865, the end of slavery in the United States.
The city's family-friendly event takes place from 12-4 p.m. at the Kissimmee Lakefront Park Veterans lawn. The kids can have a blast at the KUA Power Zone. Come together with the local community to celebrate freedom, unity and culture at this historically meaningful event ahead of the now federal holiday for Juneteenth on June 19.
