Here's where Toho Water will flush water lines this short holiday week

After Memorial Day, Toho Water Authority will flush water lines on the same side of Old Canoe Creek Road and just south of Neptune Elementary School. Customers are likely to experience a temporary drop in water pressure and discolored water.

FDOT grant allowing St. Cloud Police to fight distracted driving

The St. Cloud Police Department is using state funds to add patrols that will help keep a lookout for distracted drivers.Over two days last week, St.

The Rotary Club of St. Cloud’s 41st Annual Spring Fling 2024 and Bass Tournament takes place on Saturday, April 6 at the St. Cloud Lakefront. The Bass Tournament will be on the waters of East Lake Toho at Chisolm Park. Check in for the tournament is at 5:30 a.m. and weigh-in is at 2 p.m.

We know the City of St. Cloud knows how to do New Year’s Eve … now it’s going to show it’s green chops for St. Patrick’s Day!Saturday, St. Cloud’s St. Patrick’s Paint the Cloud Green Light Parade Party will be from 7:30 to 11 p.m.  The parade will start at the Lakefront, go down Pennsylvania Ave.

 The City of St. Cloud is updating its five-year Strategic Plan, and is looking for input from the community to help shape the city's future. So, the city is holding a Community Visioning Session – in-person and virtually – on Wednesday, Feb. 21, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Tucked away on the corner of Virginia Avenue and 10th Street, a bright blue building has become a source of joy for more than 100 children.Friday, the St. Cloud branch of the Boys & Girls Club celebrated its first anniversary.

The next City of St. Cloud’s Bike and Bites 2023 will be on Sunday, Oct. 29 beginning at 4 p.m. Starting at Lakefront Park. This five-mile bike ride will have you pedaling for food and fun. Visit up to 10 participating downtown St. Cloud restaurants and enjoy food, drinks, water and snacks.

St. Cloud paves way for future Council raises

The St. Cloud City Council is halfway toward issuing a pay raise – for future councils. At Thursday’s meeting the board passed the first reading of an ordinance raising Council members’ salaries, but current Council members will not see the increase.

Observe Memorial Day Monday at Mount Peace Cemetery

Memorial Day is a holiday to commemorate Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the military. This day of remembrance falls on the last Monday of May each year.  In observance of Memorial Day, there will be a wreath laying ceremony on Monday at 10 a.m.
