If you’re a parent or student, this summer has been the “take a breath” — unmasked if you’re out and about and vaccinated —between one of the most tumultuous school years on record, and the 2021-22 year that will hopefully see a return to familiarity.

School Board makes face masks optional starting July 1

The Osceola County School Board voted Tuesday to make face masks optional for students, teachers and staff at schools and district offices. Adults and children riding on school busses will continue to be required to wear masks.
