FDOT’s Vineland Road widening plans highlight safety

At a recent virtual public hearing, the Florida Department of Transportation’s District Five presented plans to widen State Road 535 (Vineland Road), from U.S. Highway 192 to just north of World Center Drive in Orange County.

Work begins on new Interstate 4-County Road 532 “diverging diamond” interchange near ChampionsGate

Improvements have begun on a new interchange at Interstate 4 and County Road 532 (Osceola-Polk Line) Road to reconfigure it to a diverging diamond interchange (DDI). The changes aim to make the intersection safer while allowing for increased capacity at a location of nearly daily congestion.
