The 4th of July had a something for everyone, everywhere in Osceola County. Independence Day celebrations to honor the red, white and blue of U.S.A. were held at Disney World, Old Town Kissimmee, Promenade at Sunset Walk, Celebration and on the lakefronts of Kissimmee and St. Cloud.

While Juneteenth was officially recognized as a national holiday in 2021, it was never unnoticed. And it was on full display Saturday at Kissimmee Lakefront Park, where there was a community of African Americans coming together and celebrating life.
The weather may have been really, really hot Saturday at the St. Cloud Lakefront, but so was Experience Osceola, a showcase event for the local business community.

Rotary Club of Kissimmee West has announced the results and winners of it's 7th annual Student Art Contest, held April 25 through May 2, to benefit student scholarships and the Osceola Council on Aging. The 7th annual student art contest raised over $8,300 ($5 per vote and corporate sponsors).

The City of St. Cloud, along with numerous veterans, youth, and civic organizations observed Memorial Day on Monday.Over 100 people attended the morning ceremony at Mount Peace Cemetery. Earlier, small flags had been planted at each veteran’s grave in the cemetery.
