Make Poinciana its own county Dear Editor: Almost 150,000 people live in bondage between Polk and Osceola counties, an independent zone where there are no road signs to speak of or street numbers. The traffic defies description, and without an updated GPS finding your destination is a crapshoot.

A Moment With Mary — A moment of outrage

I am outraged. Jordan Neely was killed on a New York subway this month. He was 30 years old with a documented history of mental illness. He had been shouting that he was hungry and thirsty, that he didn’t care if he lived or died. He was clearly in need of clinical intervention.
