And, now it’s time to choose your favorites in Osceola County.
We give you the annual Best of Osceola Reader’s Choice Awards.
Voting for the annual local “Best Of ” awards began on Thursday, Aug. 26, and hundreds of votes have already been logged. Community members can vote for their favorite businesses, restaurants, people, professionals and places. This year, we at the News-Gazette are changing things up. Instead of the traditional in-paper ballot that folks would have to fill in and return to the newspaper; we have moved to an “all-digital” voting platform. We have over 100 categories this year and are using a third-party vendor to ensure all fairness in voting procedures and winner results.
With exclusively digital voting, readers can vote anywhere, anytime, and as many times as they want, but only one voting session per hour. To vote, simply visit www.aroundosceola. com and look for the Best Of Osceola vote now icon on the homepage. You will see four groups; just click on one and get started.
The ballot will guide you through each phase of the voting as you scroll. If you see your favorite featured, just hit the vote button. If not, simply write in your favorite. The ballot will be live for 30 days to ensure everyone gets a chance to vote for their favorites.
Winners will be announced once all votes have been tabulated in our “Best of Osceola” special section, slated to publish some time in October.
