Osceola County Sheriff's investigators say they've arrested an 18-year-old Kissimmee man they say was exchanging digital content of a sexual nature with minors — much the same charge he was arrested for three years ago as a minor.
Court documents show David Daniel Martinez was arrested Tuesday and charged with felonies that include possession or control of child sexual abuse material, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, use of a computer or electronic device to solicit a person believed to be a minor, and transmission of material harmful to minors.
Osceola County Jail records show Martinez faced a judge on Wednesday and has been released on bond.
Detectives say Martinez is no stranger to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, having previously been arrested in 2023 for ten counts of possession of child sex abuse material. As a result of the 2023 arrest, Martinez was subject to probation which concluded December of 2025.
But arrest records show ICAC detectives received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Jan. 6, 2026 a suspect utilizing a login IP address was accessing child pornography through a Pinterest account. The IP address and subscriber records led to Martinez's home on Veracruz Avenue in Kissimmee. On July 2, 2026, Pinterest provided records that revealed sexually explicit communications between an account tied to Martinez and three Pinterest users who represented themselves as being younger than 18 years old, and that he moved such content to a Snapchat account.
According to the arrest affidavit, when deputies executed a warrant at his home Tuesday and asked about his online accounts, Martinez admitted he uploaded sexually explicit content of himself to private boards and invited other users to access them.
