Ramp and road closures, including a complete closure of I-4 westbound lanes overnight, continue during ongoing work for the Moving I-4 Forward Program. Here are the dates and workarounds for the work.
ChampionsGate Boulevard under I-4, full closure
July 7-10, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
As crews complete a bridge demolition, drivers will use eastbound County Road 532, Lake Wilson Road, Ronald Reagan Parkway and Goodman Road to go from I-4 East to 532 West into ChampionsGate. This will also affect the left-turn lanes from I-4 East at the ChampionsGate exit.
I-4 East and West from State Road 429 southbound
July 12-16, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Exit at Sinclair Road eastbound, then turn right onto Old Lake Wilson Road southbound and turn right on County Road 532 to access I-4 East (right turn before underpass) or West (left turn after it), or use the ChampionsGate Boulevard detour above if 532 is closed.
I-4 West to State Road 429 (exit 60)
July 12-16, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Drivers will pass 429 and take Exit 58 (C.R. 532), make two lefts to get on I-4 East to access 429.
FULL CLOSURE: I-4 westbound at World Drive
July 14-16, 12-5 a.m.
Drivers will use the exit lanes on the right for S.R. 417, then stay in the left lane to use the ramp lanes to return to I-4.
S.R. 417 southbound to I-4 westbound and I-4 westbound to World Drive
July 16-17, 12-5 a.m.
For I-4 westbound, take Exit 2 for Celebration Avenue to U.S. 192. Turn left onto U.S. 192 westbound and take the exit to I-4 west toward Tampa.
