Cloud Cash is back! Shop local and save big in downtown St. Cloud beginning, Monday, June 1. Cash will be available for online purchase -- Pay $5 and receive $10 to spend at participating downtown businesses. It’s the perfect way to support your favorite local shops, restaurants, and small businesses.

Kissimmee Valley Seed (215 13th St.) is presenting a Fur-Tastic Summer Fest on Saturday, May 30th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be plenty of doggy activities to keep the pups cooled off. There will be sprinklers, doggie ball pit, obstacle course, lemonade stand and hot dogs. RSVP to 407-892-4040.

 


Adventure awaits! Storybook Adventures, a fun-filled downtown experience is held every Saturday in June and July at 10:30 a.m. Children can stroll through downtown and read the feature book anytime during the week. Meet the authors on Saturday and dress-up for a themed costume contest for a chance to win St. Cloud Theater tickets. The first 20 families will receive a free book. St. Cloud Heritage Museum, 1012 Massachusetts Ave., presents Passport to Patriotism Flag Day on Saturday, June 13th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This family fun and free event includes picking up your “passport” at the Museum and then proceeding to participating businesses, where you will collect stamps. Once your passport is filled, return to the Museum with your complete card for a chance to win prizes. This day honors the official adoption of the US flag on June 14th, 1777. This date serves to celebrate national pride and remember the flag as a symbol of our nation’s history and values. Local Troop 4 of St. Cloud will lead with the pledge of allegiance and demonstrate how to properly fold and store the flag. Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be participating in the event to explain the Code of the American Flag.
