Experience Kissimmee’s Tourism Enhancement Grants Program will open its application period for the 2026-2027 cycle starting April 14 through May.
The program by Experience Kissimmee, Osceola County tourism marketing arm, provides funding assistance to local government entities and non-profit organizations within the county for special events or projects that increase revenue and drive tourism.
“For fiscal year 20242025, Experience Kissimmee awarded $500,000 in marketing support through the Tourism Enhancement Grants Program, helping promote more than 40 events across Osceola County,” said Experience Kissimmee President and CEO DT Minich. “These events drive meaningful economic impact by attracting visitors, supporting local jobs, and increasing spending in our community.”
Applications are based on a number of qualities for scoring criteria including economic impact, generated room nights, event attendance, marketing plans, and organization stability. A Grant Financial Report is due within 45 days after the completed event date and should include budget reports, samples of materials (print ads, brochures, banner samples), invoice copies, and an attendee survey summary and marketing report.
Over the years, Experience Kissimmee has awarded funding to the Silver Spurs Rodeo, Fall Festival, Viva Osceola, Oktoberfest, and Boots, Bulls, and Barrels.
Organizations interested in applying for the 2026-2027 Tourism Enhancement Grants Program can complete an online application beginning April 14, via Experience Kissimmee’s website: ExperienceKissimmee. com. Applications will close on May 14 at 5 p.m.
