The City of Kissimmee threw a 143rd birthday party Saturday, and thousands turned out celebrate in its honor dancing, singers, family fun and, of course, birthday cake thanks to Jenni’s Cakes. Confetti rained down and cupcakes were handed out. The Kissimmee City Commission was there to lead the party, and Hart Library Assistant Director Candace Shields put down the bookmark and picked up the mic to show off her talents that are as unique as Kissimmee itself.
Happy Birthday Kissimmee, you don’t look a day over 120!
