Details still emerging as St. Cloud Police investigate
St. Cloud Police reports a woman is dead as a result of a domestic violence incident early Sunday morning.
Timothy Hyder, 57, was taken into custody without incident, and is cooperating with SCPD detectives, police say, after they report he shot Natalie Du'Mee, 58, who is reportedly his fiancé.
St. Cloud Police say they were dispatched just before 1 a.m. Sunday morning to Western Sun Drive in reference to a shooting. After arriving, they made contact with 57-year-old Timothy Hyder. According to a report, Hyder’s fiancé Natalie Du’Mee was found dead on the back patio of the couple’s home, with a handgun found in plain sight on the kitchen counter.
Few other details were available Sunday morning as the investigation continues.
"Our hearts go out to the victim and her loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.” said St. Cloud Police Chief Douglas Goerke said in a statement. “If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, there are resources to support you.
