The Rotary Club of St. Cloud’s 39th Annual Spring Fling will take place at St. Cloud’s Lakefront the first weekend of April with activities beginning on Friday, April 1. Check out all these events to see how you can be part of the Spring Fling.
Friday activities include a movie and popcorn at 7:45 p.m. at the Lakefront. Bring a blanket and chair. Food and beverage vendors will be available from 5-10 p.m.
April 2 is a full day of activities, such as the return of the Spring Fling Bass Tournament. Entry fee is $120 per team, preregistration, $140 per team registration on the day of the event. An optional Big Bass is available for $20. Cash awards will go to the first five places. Reserve a spot and register today by going to https://bit.ly/3hGBsdz. Check-in for the Bass Tournament is 6 a.m. and the Tournament weigh-in will be from 5-7 p.m.
Crafters will have booths from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and food and beverage vendors will have stations all day.
The Lakefront will also be the site for the Spring Fling’s Truck/Car/SxS/ ATV/Golf Cart Show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. To enter your vehicle there is a $25 registration fee. Trophies will be given to the top 25, Best Ford, Best Chevrolet, Best Dodge, Best Jeep, Best Import, Best Lifted, Best Lowered, the Best Under-Construction, Best SxS, Best ATV, Best Golf Cart, Best Classic car, Best Classic truck, Rotary favorite, Best Club, Best motorcycle and Best Rat Rod.
For the food lovers, a Barbeque competition, from 12-2 p.m. will be at the Lakefront and an amateur beer brewing competition will be from 5-7 p.m.
The weekend wraps up with a No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament in the St. Cloud Marina building atop Crabby Bills. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and “shuffle up and deal” is at 6. Buy in donation is $60 per player with, add-ons and final table raffle. Snacks and drinks will be available.
The event is cosponsored by the Osceola News-Gazette and other local companies.

A reminder that next week is Spring Break, and the City of St. Cloud’s Spring Kids Camp will run from Monday through Friday at the St. Cloud Civic Center (3001 17th St.).
The camp is for children ages 5-12. The cost is $90 per child (residents) and $100 per child (nonresidents). Camp hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This indoor and outdoor camp features arts and crafts, interactive games and tons of fun and adventure.
