How do we move forward from 2020?

Happy New Year! What a year. The year 2020 will go down in history as one of the toughest years we have gone through. At the end of December, we had essentially lived through nine months of unknown, unsettled, and uncertainty related to COVID-19, political agendas’, and civil unrest.

When Give Kids the World, one of Central Florida’s most well known charities, shuttered its doors in March because of the pandemic, the fantasy village for critically ill kids became a ghost town.

In observance of the New Year holiday, Osceola County administration offices and the Osceola County Courthouse will be closed Friday, Jan. 1.    Regular curbside garbage and recycling service to residents of unincorporated Osceola County will run as scheduled on Thursday.
