Kissimmee Police obtained an arrest warrant Tuesday for Nicolas Alexander Lopez in connection with the death of a 71-year-old man last month.
According to police, officers located 71-year-old Charles Harper in the backyard of a home on Heather Way on Jun 25 with trauma to his face. He was pronounc ed dead at the scene. Through investigation, Lopez was identified as a person of interest and then developed additional information establishing probable cause that Lopez was responsible for Harper’s death. Lopez was also charged with grand theft auto in connection with the theft of Harper’s vehicle. Lopez has been in custody at the Seminole County Jail on unrelated charges.
