AARP Foundation Tax – Aide provides tax consulting with several preparation options. This service is free of charge, with special focus on those over 50 or have low to moderate income, on Mondays through April 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anthony DePalma Center (395 Marigold Ave.).

Valentines Day Bingo takes place on Friday, Feb. 14 at the Poinciana Community Center, 445 Marigold Ave. This fun filled Bingo night starts at 6 p.m. Special host is Humana and features 10 games for $5 with cash payouts to winners. The concession stand will be open for food and drinks (no outside food and drinks are allowed). This event is for ages 18 and over.
The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) Annual Adult Sweetheart Dance takes place on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the Anthony DePalma Event Center. This celebration for you and your sweetheart includes music for you to dance the night away, snacks and drinks at the cash bar.

Access Community Center will be distributing bags of fruits and vegetables on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4545 Pleasant Hill Road (near Southport Road) beginning at 11 a.m. One bag per person while supplies last.
Spring registration is now open for Spring Soccer with the Polk County Futbol Club. This club is for ages 8-16. The 2025 season starts Saturday, Mar. 1. Soccer takes place at the Poinciana Community Park, 5109 Allegheny Road.
