KISSIMMEE NEWS — Something athletic for young and old

Little athletes ages 3-5 are invited to join Start Smart Baseball, an introductory program focused on building confidence and teaching basic baseball skills in a fun, supportive environment. Sessions take place at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex (2500 Fortune Road) from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesdays from June 3-July 8.

On the court, kids ages 6-17 can register for the NYSE Recreational Basketball League, designed to develop skills in a fun and structured environment. Practices are held Thursdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m., with games on Saturdays at Denn John Middle School.

Senior citizens are invited to join the city’s Senior Citizens in Motion, a monthly program that encourages social engagement through fun and interactive activities in a welcoming environment. The program takes place every third Wednesday of the month from 12-2 p.m. at Chambers Park Community Center (2380 Smith St.). This month’s gathering will feature bingo and social activities.
