While Osceola County will not see direct weather impacts (luckily) from either Hurricane Humberto out to sea or Tropical Storm Imelda rolling through the Bahamas, the storms in the Atlantic will have an affect on our weather, at least in the first part of this week.
First off, if you're thinking of heading to the beach in Brevard or Volusia county, while a Tropical Storm Watch for the coast was rescinded, expect high surf advisories all week; the surf will be dangerous. "The risk for life-threatening rip currents continues to increase at all area beaches," the National Weather Service in Melbourne said in the morning's Area Forecast Discussion.
Inland, expect scattered fast-moving showers on Monday, with a higher chance for rain in the eastern portion of the county closest to Brevard county. Expect winds out of the northeast, then north, then northwest at 15-20 mph. Our highest winds will likely be Monday night into Tuesday up to 30 mph, and will start to subside early Wednesday.
High temperatures will be 85-87 through Wednesday, with lows of 72-74.
