The "return to normal" of more parts of Osceola County after Hurricane Ian continues, with the announcement Thursday of the scheduled re-opening Friday, Oct. 14 of seven boat ramps.
The ramps that will open:
- Lake Marian
- Southport
- Sexton Park
- Trout Landing
- Smith’s Landing
- Joe Overstreet
- Granada Boulevard
Four others remain closed in the wake of high water levels caused by Hurricane Ian.: Whaley’s Landing, Lake Cypress, Partin Triangle and C-Gate 33.

In Kissimmee, the Lakefront Park boat ramp at the north end by the marina, while still experiencing high water levels, is also open.
