After Friday’s title game, Kowboys’ pursuit of teams past continues

In the Class 6A state championship football game Friday, the Osceola Kowboys play really good West Boca Raton.They weren’t just taking on the Bulls – and their really loud band. (Yo FHSAA: you preach sportsmanship all through the game, then you let the band play during the play of the game.

CLASS 6A TITLE GAME -- West Boca Raton presents Kowboys a huge challenge

There will be no more Mondays.Osceola mantra of winning a playoff game so they will have one more Monday of practices ends this week. The real question now becomes: can the Kowboys pull off a major upset and win the school’s second state football championship?

Osceola Kowboys win in Gainesville; headed to Class 6A championship after 'One More Monday'

It's not often a coach will see his team give up almost 400 passing yards and five touchdowns and then want to talk about how well his defense played. But that was exactly what happened in Gainesville on Friday night, as Osceola edged Buchholz, 41-35 in it Class 6A semifinal game.

OBC girls soccer tournament next week; Celebration, Harmony top seeds

Celebration will be the top seed, but defending champion Harmony should not be counted out as the 2024-25 Orange Belt Conference girls soccer championship will contested next week.

Signing Day at Osceola: one flip, one delay, but two are signed and on their way

Playing Buchholz High Friday night for an opportunity to get to the FHSAA Class 6A State Championship Game may be the immediate concern for the Osceola Kowboys, but Thursday was the day to look into the future for four talented players.
