Osceola Magic take Puerto Rican Heritage Night win

Puerto Rico native Ethan Thompson scored a game-high 29 to lead the Osceola Magic to a 115-107 win over the College Park Skyhawks on Puerto Rican Heritage Night Friday at the Silver Spurs arena. “In the third, the basket looked real big and my teammates were giving me good looks,” Thompson remarked.

Osceola wrestlers earn spots on Knockout podium

Camden County, Georgia’s defending Class 7A state wrestling champion, placed eight grapplers on the podium and won the 2024 Knockout Christmas Classic at Silver Spurs Arena last weekend.Camden had one champion (Ryder Wilder at 190 pounds), but it was their overall depth that made the difference.

McClung’s road to NBA’s doorstep long and winding

Mac McClung has come a long way from when he was a high schooler putting dunk videos on Instagram and TikTok. He is now a two-way player for the Orlando Magic and the two-time defending NBA Dunk Contest winner. But the road for the undrafted McClung has been a long and windy one.

Despite Baker's big game, Lakers outplay undermanned Osceola Magic in Showcase

The Osceola Magic played the South Bay Lakers in the nationally televised G League showcase game Saturday at the Orange County Convention Center. The game was supposed to showcase Osceola’s Mac Clung and South Bay’s Bronny James, who is the son of NBA star Lebron James.

Harmony heroics lead to OBC title

The dynasty continues for Harmony High School, as the Longhorns captured their 12th OBC girls soccer championship in dramatic fashion, defeating St. Cloud with a last-minute goal in a thrilling 2-1 victory Friday to Tohopekaliga High School to defend their title.

Knockout Classic returns to Silver Spurs this weekend

One of the nation’s premiere holiday wrestling tournaments returns to Silver Spurs Arena this weekend as Osceola High hosts the 12th edition of the Knockout Classic. Action begins at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday and tickets are $20 per day.
