New special session called on immigration

News Service of Florida — After a special session late last month spiraled into a clash between Republican legislative leaders and Gov. Ron DeSantis, Florida lawmakers will meet in another special session Tuesday to pass a package of bills targeting illegal immigration — with DeSantis’ support.

Osceola Magic head into All-Star Game in tight G League race; here's who'll be in the All-Star festivities

The Osceola Magic are back in the thick of it in the NBA G League standings. Despite having a seven-game win streak snapped by the Grand Rapids Gold (9-10) on Monday, the Magic are 11-7 and in sixth place in the Eastern Conference heading into the league's All-Star Break.

Wednesday's regional playoff boys basketball scores; Thursday's girls schedule

Six Osceola County boys basketball teams and two girls teams have qualified for the FHSAA regional playoffs. They are led by Osceola (23-3), who won District 7A-9 and are the top seed in Region 3.Boys region quarterfinal games are on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.. Semifinals are on Monday, Feb. 17.
