I come from Philly, a sports mecca where we're close with our sports teams.It's a place where the fans get chided for talking in "We"s ... "we won", "we lost" when the game is over.Well, Osceola County, ya'll became "We" Monday night down at the Silver Spurs.

The undermanned Osceola Magic lost a hard-fought battle to the Stockton Kings, 118-110, in the G League in front of a near-sellout, loud, inspired crowd of 3,421 at Silver Spurs Arena on Monday night. This was the third game of the best-of-three final series.

Ziss wins double gold at state weightlifting championships

Although he did not have the day he hoped, St. Cloud weightlifter Mikey Ziss won double gold medals at the FHSAA state Weightlifting Championships Saturday in Lakeland.Ziss hoisted 200 pounds in the snatch and 250 in the clean-and-jerk to win the 119-pound class Olympic competition.

St. Cloud sweeps OBC track championships

It was a “Dog Day Afternoon,” as the St. Cloud Bulldogs swept the Orange Belt Conference track meet at Harmony Wednesday.The boys’ team tallied 165.5 points to outdistance Gateway (138.5). Celebration (82) was third, Poinciana (80) fourth and defending boys’ champion Harmony was fifth (69.5).
