St. Cloud steals district title over rival Harmony, 3-2

Kacey Pagan opened the fifth inning with a double and later scored on a wild pitch as St. Cloud captured the District 7A-6 softball championship Wednesday with a 3-2 win over arch-rival Harmony.

Two at the park: Orlando Pride, City win over the weekend

A day after the Orlando Pride scored a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Angel City that they trailed Friday 2-0 at halftime in NWSL action, a focused Orlando City SC delivered a commanding 3-0 victory over Atlanta United at Inter&Co Stadium Saturday.

Harmony pounds Lake Nona in regional baseball

For a second straight year, the Longhorns are headed to the regional semifinals.Harmony (23-6) earned that right on Thursday night, completing a quarterfinal sweep of Lake Nona, 13-3.

Harmony moves on to Monday's flag football regional semis; Gateway's comeback not enough

Harmony will move on to Monday's Class 4A Region 3 flag football semifinals after surviving a late scare from a county rival in Wednesday's regional quarterfinal.The Longhorns (14-4) led Celebration (14-4), 27-7 in the fourth quarter before holding on to win, 27-20.

Big weekend For Osceola County’s track teams, athletes

It was a big weekend for local high school track teams, as three county teams sprinted their way to district championships.Over at Viera on Friday, the St. Cloud boys’ team dominated the District 4A-7 meet, winning the team title with 151 points.

Longhorns wrangle district titles; Gateway captures flag championship

Thursday was a busy one, as three local teams earned district championships.At St. Cloud, Ismael Rivera came out of the bullpen to pitch five innings of four-hit baseball and the Harmony Longhorns came from six runs down to beat Lake Nona, 15-6, in the District 7A-9 championship game.
