It’s beginning to look a lot like … well, you know. New Kissimmee Mayor Jackie Espinosa presided over the city’s tree lighting ceremony at City Hall Saturday.The city’s tree is back on Church Street after City Hall construction forced moving the tree to the police department in 2023.

BOO on Broadway — A start to the "spooky season"

Friday night was a great night to start the “Spooky season” of Halloween in downtown Kissimmee at the annual BOO! On Broadway. Put on by Kissimmee Main Street, the block party attracted thousands of festive Trick-or-Treaters in costume, and the downtown merchants obliged with candy galore.

Thousands of people passed through Kissimmee Gateway Airport Saturday -- even though they weren't going anywhere.The annual Kissimmee Fly-In gave folks the chance to check out up-close and tour a variety of planes, including flight training aircraft and United Airlines commercial jet.
