Hello fellow residents.
As we approach the end of 2020, I would like to thank everyone for their commitment and dedication at staying safe and ensuring the well being of fellow residents throughout our communities during the pandemic.
It has definitely been a difficult and challenging year, however, together we have moved forward stronger than ever! I wish you and your families a wonderful, healthy and happy new year. Please see community updates below.
Related to Covid-19: Housing/mortgage, utility and eviction diversion assistance programs: These programs may open and close at different times. Applicants must be a resident of Osceola County, have proof of Covid-19 hardship (i.e. loss of income, laid off, reduced hours or furloughed), have a valid driver’s license or state identification, and Social Security card. Other documentation may also be required. Please contact Human Services at 407-742-8403 or visit https://www.osceola.org/agencies-departments/human-services/housing/ or www.osceola.org for additional updates on when you may apply before the end of December 2020.
Reminder: Please remember to wear a facemask and maintain social distancing while out in public per CDC guidelines. The face covering order was modified recently, and although it remains mandatory for Osceola County residents, there are no longer penalties associated with it due to action by Gov. Ron DeSantis back in September. Let’s continue working together to help stop the spread of the virus, especially when gathering in larger groups over the holidays.
