The 3rd Annual BrooklynRoseStrong 5K Family Fun Walk/Run takes place on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 a.m. at the St. Cloud Lakefront. This special event is held in memory of Brooklyn Rose Medina, a local DIPG (Diffuse Intirnsic Pontine Glioma) warrior whose courage and strength continues to inspire this mission.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This is an opportunity to honor Brooklyn’s legacy and give families impacted with childhood cancer hope. Proceeds from BrooklynRoseStrong 5K benefit the Brooklyn’s Petals of Hope Foundation which provides direct financial assistance to families facing diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma/diffuse midline glioma (DIPG/DMG), the most lethal form of pediatric cancer.
The event will include a special kid’s dash in addition to a family friendly 5K walk/run, awards for the top male and female finishers, an award for the largest team, an award for the Most Spirited Team, recognition for the top individual Fundraiser and recognition for the top team Fundraiser.

Osceola Anglers High School Fishing Club needs volunteers for the 2026-2027 Angler season. The club is built on teamwork and community support. Volunteers help at tournaments and events, support graduating anglers and make a lasting impact.

The City of St. Cloud’s Toddler Time Program starts up again on Monday, Sept. 14. These interactive toddler classes encourage exploration of their creativity, discover new interests, build confidence and stay active while having fun.

Capoeira, a Brazilian Martial Art will now be offered at the St. Cloud Civic Center. Capoeira combines self-defense, movement, acrobatics and music, helping to build strength, coordination, reflexes and agility. This class is offered by ABADA Capoeira Florida.

R.I.S.E. Up Osceola: READ Bus will be at the Library on Thursday, Sept. 10. This Osceola School District’s Special Programs Department is bringing their READ Bus, a renovated yellow school bus with an interior that resembles a mini pre-K classroom that will be onsite. The age group is children ages 3 to 4. There will be 2 times for this event – 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Baby and Me takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Hug your little ones while sharing this special first-time experience. This is for children from birth to 18 months. This program introduces books with playtime and repetitive music.
Rhythm, Rhyme & Storytime takes place on Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. This program is for children ages 0 to 5. Sing, swing and sway through this program dedicated to music and movement.
Preschool Playdate is Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Preschoolers explore, create and socialize with a variety of toys in a fun and safe environment.
The Wishing Spell takes place on Wednesday, Sept. 16from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Library. School aged children may enter the magical world of The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell! Crack enchanted clues, conquer a charmed escape room, create magical keep sakes and bring the fairy tale story to life.

Make a splash at the next City of St. Cloud’s Lunch and Learn – Focus and Float on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center, 2991 17th St. Learn about the City’s swim classes, water safety education and the health benefits of swimming for all ages and abilities.
