U.S. 192 to close overnight Monday as part of Moving I-4 Forward Program

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has scheduled a closure of U.S. Highway 192 eastbound over Interstate 4 to support ongoing construction activities for the Moving I-4 Forward Program.

The lanes will close overnight Monday night into Tuesday from 12-5 a.m. in order for bridge demolition of old lanes of highway. Drivers wanting to go east on 192 at I-4 will exit onto I-4 west and go about 1 mile to Exit 62 to the Disney World/Celebration and take the Celebration exit to access World Drive south. Drivers will be able to merge back onto I-4 East, then take the 192 East exit.

Drivers on I-4 East wanting to access 192 East will continue on I-4 to Exit 62 and follow the instructions above.

This will follow a closure of all I-4 lanes at U.S. 192 Sunday night into Monday morning, from 11:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Westbound traffic will exit at Disney World/Celebration and travel north on World Drive, then make a right on 192, then left at the temporary signal for the temporary ramp back onto I-4.

Eastbound traffic will exit at 192 West to the World Drive south exit to re-emerge on I-4 East.
