The Osceola County Sheriff's Office announced a pair of arrests Tuesday.

A nearly 3-month long investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit led to the arrest of Dale Meyer Elliot, 41,  on multiple counts of possession of photos and videos depicting sexual performance by a child.

The investigation began when members of the ICAC Unit received information that Mr. Elliot had shared over 100,000 files online that were believed to have been, or were related to, child sexual abuse. On Feb. 3, the ICAC unit served a search warrant at Mr. Elliot’s Cheryl Court residence in Kissimmee. Multiple electronic devices were located and collected from his residence. Those devices were examined and based on the evidence obtained during this investigation, ICAC Unit Detectives arrested and booked Elliot into the Osceola County Jail.

The department also announced an arrest in relation to an April 12 robbery at the Family Dollar on Michigan Avenue in Kissimmee. James Adrien, 27, has been arrested and charged with robbery and petit theft.

In the incident, witnesses said two masked men entered the business and attempted to purchase food items. Once the employee opened the cash register, one of the suspects jumped over the counter, demanded the employee not to move, and proceeded to remove the cash from the register. Once the register was empty, both suspects fled on foot. The Sheriff's Robbery Unit identified Adrien as a suspect, located and apprehended him. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail, where records show he's held on no bond for the charges and for violating probation.
