POLICE NEWS — St. Cloud man arrested for threatening juvenile with gun

A 43-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested Friday night after allegedly using a gun to threaten and detain a juvenile who had been playing “ding-dong-ditch” with a friend in the Deer Creek subdivision.

Marco Agard, 43, was charged with false imprisonment of a child under 13, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. He made an appearance in front of a judge Monday and was released from jail on $2,000 bond.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim and a friend were walking through the Deer Creek neighborhood when they began knocking on doors and running away. After multiple knocks on his door, Agard began driving around searching for those involved.

Upon spotting the juveniles leaving a driveway, Agard allegedly approached them and grabbed one by the wrist to hold him until police could arrive. One of the juveniles later told officers that after Agard grabbed his wrist, he became fearful for his life when the suspect allegedly mentioned that he could have shot him and also threatened to put him in the trunk of his car. The juvenile stated he could see the outline of a firearm in Agard’s pocket during the encounter. When taking Agard into custody, police found a loaded semiautomatic firearm in his right pants pocket.

Convicted felon pair arrested in Osceola motel drug and weapons bust Two convicted felons were arrested Tuesday after Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies discovered fentanyl, cocaine, an assault rifle and drug paraphernalia in a hotel room.

Deputies responded to the Melia Orlando Celebration around 6 a.m., after a woman called authorities claiming she was being held against her will in a room. Deputies arrived and encountered multiple individuals, including Gavroch Muller Cadet, 34, of Kissimmee, and Mitchell Muzac, 34, of Oviedo, both of whom were determined to be convicted felons.

According to reports, the woman who called law enforcement, along with two other women found inside the room, may have been victims of sex trafficking.

During a security sweep, deputies spotted an AR-15-style rifle with a magazine in plain view, drug paraphernalia and multiple cellphones. Detectives secured an emergency search warrant, leading to the discovery of 4.9 grams of fentanyl and cocaine, medications alprazolam and suboxone without prescriptions, hypodermic needles and plastic straws with white powder residue.

Cadet and Muzac were arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl (4+ grams), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, three counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Records show Cadet has an extensive criminal history dating back to 2015, with past charges including assault, theft and fraud.
