The Poinciana Victory Pool, located at 445 Marigold Ave., is now open. There are new rules and regulations in place as a response to COVID-19 guidelines.

These strict guidelines are put in place to ensure the safety of the Poinciana community during this cautious re-opening of the state. Entrance into the pool is by reservation only for a two-hour time slot. Call 863-427-0900, Ext. 501, Monday through Friday. The hours of pool operation are Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Annual membership will be honored or a pass may be purchased for $2 per person.

As Florida moves into full Phase One of the governor’s re-opening plan, there are still precautions that must be taken. Moving into Phase One does not mean that COVID-19 has been eradicated. It simply means that as long as caution is still observed of social distancing, the wearing of face coverings and washing of hands, we can begin easing back into normalcy.  At our full Phase One status, we are at 50 percent occupancy of newly opened establishments.

There is still one more day. Poinciana residents are asked to decorate their front door bright and cheerful as a thank you to all the essential workers in the community.  Make this a family project. Cover your front door – be creative!  Show first responders, healthcare workers, teachers and grocery store workers that you care and appreciate them.

The Brighten Your Day Campaign will award a pool membership and a $50 gift card from Babcock Home Furnishing & More to the most cheerful, clever and best decorated front door.

When completed take a picture and email to trish.moore@fsresidential.com. The deadline for this contest has been extended to May 22.
