After a three-year hiatus, the Osceola Council on Aging is back on track to host our popular ‘Swing for All Generations’ Golf Tournament. In its 17th year, the fundraising event is scheduled for Friday, April 28 at Celebration Golf Club.

Presented by Goosehead Insurance and Prescriptions Unlimited, come join our team for a day filled with golf, food, and great company, all while supporting a tremendous cause. The 18-hole tournament is open to players of all ages and skill levels; whether you are a beginner or a seasoned golf pro, please support this fun-filled event. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8.

Participants can sign up as individual players, or bring a team of friends, family, or colleagues. Registration is $200 per person, or $800 for a fourperson team. Cost includes breakfast, green fees, range balls, cart rental, lunch, open bar, goodie bags, and access to all activities.

There will be a $10K hole in one cash prize, with, ‘mulligan’ do-overs, 50/50 drawing and a prize wheel tickets for sale. Players can also bring a guest for lunch for an added $50.

We are excited to host this year’s golf event, since we have been unable to do so for the past several years. This fundraiser is one of many we have scheduled for 2023. Being the largest social services organization in Osceola County, we have provided services and programs for thousands of Osceola seniors, disabled individuals, and disadvantaged families of the community. In 2022 alone, we served 230,000 community residents through Meals on Wheels, emergency assistance, home repairs and in-home services: affordable housing, our medical clinic, and food donations through our pantries in both Kissimmee and St. Cloud.

We could not do this work for the community, without the community. I again, thank everyone for their ongoing support of the OCOA and I want to thank our many golfers, in advance, for supporting our 17th annual golf tournament fundraiser.
