The Osceola Chamber is taking nominations for its fifth annual Tomorrow’s Leaders Today awards.

If you know someone under 40 who works or lives in Osceola County who is considered an up-and-coming leader in the Osceola community by their peers, nominate them by July 15 for the awards, presented by the Young Professionals of The Osceola Chamber.

The award recognizes individuals under 40 years of age who live or work in Osceola County, and stand out in their acts of service, both professionally and in the community.

Nominees will submit a detailed application here: https://bit.ly/3nA4caN.

Winners will be honored at a cocktail reception in the fall. Last year both the 2020 (no reception due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and 2021 award winners were honored. The 2021 class included LaVell Monger with RTW Photography, Kendyl Bass with the Osceola County School District, Henry Thacker with Balfour Beatty Construction, Kari Ewalt with the Osceola County Supervisor of Elections, and Osceola County Attorney Natasha Billyer.

Other past recipients include Keith and Kelly Trace, Rev. Mary Downey and Will Cooper of The Hope Coalition, Melissa Zayas-Moreno and Austin Blake of the City of Kissimmee, School Board Member Terry Castillo and a number of teachers and Osceola School District employees, law enforcement sector employees and those in the private sector.

Each award recipient is presented with an engraved statue.
