The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect in the deaths of four people found at a Celebration home Monday morning.

Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered the bodies inside the home, 202 Reserve Place, about 9 a.m. after the agency received a tip about a possible dead body at the residence, spokesman Maj. Jacob Ruiz told the News-Gazette.

A suspect was taken into custody Monday night, he said.

However, because the suspect was not under arrest nor had been charged with a crime as of Tuesday afternoon, the Sheriff ’s Office would not release a name, according to Bethzaida Garcia, a public relations coordinator for the agency.

In an email to the News-Gazette, she said that, “the identities of the deceased cannot be confirmed until autopsies are conducted by the medical examiner’s office.

Once positive identification is made of the deceased persons will be notifying next of kin, after that we will be able to release this information to the public.”

At a press conference near the scene Monday, Sheriff Russ Gibson said: “This is an isolated incident and all parties involved in this death investigation are accounted for.”

However, Monday wasn’t the first time the Sheriff’s Office had been to the Reserve Place home, in the North Village area of Celebration, Ruiz said.

Part of unincorporated Osceola County, Celebration was developed by the Disney company and is known for its pristine, high-end houses and tree-lined streets.

“There was a call history on the residence...we had been out there previously,” Ruiz told the News-Gazette.

Court records associated with 202 Reserve Place indicate that Anthony J. Todt and Megan D. Todt rented the home. The two had signed a one-year lease last May.

The property owner filed paperwork to evict the Todts from the residence on Dec. 22, after they failed to pay the $4,921 rent on Dec. 1, according to public records on the website for the Osceola County Clerk of the Court.

The eviction complaint shows that the property owners were also seeking $9,842 in “liquidated damages” from the Todts, which is a payment charged to a party that breaches a legal contract, such as a lease.

The lease showed that three other people also occupied the home: Aleksander Todt, Tyler Todt and Zoe Todt.

It is unclear whether the Todts were the people who were found dead in the house or if one of them was the suspect in police custody.

The Sheriff’s Office has released few details about the case, but speculation on social media abounds.

The town of Colchester, Conn., posted the following on its Facebook page Monday night:

“The news reports out of Celebration, Florida regarding a Colchester family are shocking and heartbreaking. While there is much we do not know at this time, I know that the thoughts and prayers of our entire community are with the relatives and friends of the family involved. We can’t always make sense of moments like this but we can support each other.”
