See how you can still get one, or when to vote in person
It’s about time to vote in 2024 — if you live in district 35 and participated in the special House of Representatives election, it’s the second time.
The Osceola County Supervisor of Elections announced it has sent the first mailing of requested vote-by-mail ballots to those who requested one for the upcoming Presidential Preference Primary Election. It is a closed primary, so only those registered as Republicans or Democrats, or registered with a third party that has a primary, will receive one.
All vote-by-mail requests from prior years have expired. The deadline for voters to request a ballot to be delivered by mail for the Presidential primary is 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 7. Vote-by-mail ballot requests can be made online at www.voteosceola.gov or by calling (407) 742-6000.
Those ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday, March 19.) The United States Postal Service recommends voters mail their ballots at least one week before the due date.
Voted ballots can also be dropped off at any of the early voting locations between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. March 9-17.
The last day to register to vote and be eligible for the Presidential primary is Feb. 20.
