In order to help incoming middle (sixth grade) and high school (ninth) students and parents become familiar with their new schools and schedules for next year, Osceola County's secondary schools will host Student Orientation Nights on these dates this mornth
Incoming Sixth Grade Student Orientation Night: Jan. 24, 6 p.m., in-person at all middle and K-8 schools
Students moving on to sixth grade in 2022-23, along with their parents, are invited to attend the Orientation Night at their new middle school to meet their principal, to get an idea of what classes will be offered, to make their way around the campus, to learn about the extracurricular sports and club offerings, information on setting up a class schedule, and more. Orientation Night is a great opportunity for parents to get involved in the next step of their child’s education. Parents with Orientation Night questions are encouraged to contact the middle school their child will attend.
Incoming Ninth Grade Student Curriculum Night, Jan. 31, 6 p.m., in-person at all high schools and Osceola County School for the Arts
Students going into ninth grade in 2022-23, along with their parents, are invited to attend to meet their new principals, to get an idea of what classes will be offered and how to set up a class schedule, to make their way around the campuses, to learn about curriculum, clubs, and extracurricular sports offerings, and more. These Curriculum Nights will be a great opportunity for parents to get involved in the next step of their child’s education.
