April is Water Conservation Month! Despite the saying “April showers bring May flowers,” April is actually the driest month in Florida. This month is observed nationally to educate the public about how to manage water resources wisely, and to promote the need to conserve water.

The City of St. Cloud’s First Big Red Chair Triathlon will be held this Saturday, April 15 at 7:30 a.m. at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center. Billed as perfect for newbies and beginners, this triathlon features a 400m swim in the pool, 12-mile bike course and 3.1-mile run.

The Florida Cabinet has approved funding for the permanent conservation of 21,063 acres across five properties within and adjacent to the Florida Wildlife Corridor. Holopaw Ranch in northeast Osceola County makes up over 4,000 acres of it.
