Hey home schoolers – here’s an event just for you. The City of St. Cloud’s Summer Kickoff: Home School Edition will be on Friday, May 19 from 1-4 p.m. at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center. Enjoy lots of swimming, music, food and fun. The cost is $10 per participant. Register online at www.webtrac.stcloudfl.gov.

Then, that evening, the City of St. Cloud presents Movie at the Lakefront on Friday, May 19 at Lakefront Park at dusk. The movie Wonder will be shown. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy!

But, if being downtown is more your style, the St. Cloud Food and Art Festival takes place Friday from 5-9 p.m. This is an opportunity to sample downtown eateries while viewing local art. The admission fee of $30 gives you 10 tickets for 10 samples at these participating eateries: Loading Gastrobrunch, Cobblestone Courtyard, Savvy Sweets, Sweet Spot Snowballs, Pops Waffle & Ice Cream Shoppe, No Coins Required, Island Cloud Grill, 10th Street Produce and Deli, Garage Bar, Thee Dog House, La Fontaine Macarons, Breeze, Old Fashion Cigar Bar and John 3:15 Caffe.

The City of St. Cloud invites women ages 18 and older to join in their Women’s Empowerment Circle on Saturday, May 20 at 11 a.m. at Hopkins Park (620 E. 17th St.)
