Spooky Spectacular Book or Treat takes place at the St. Cloud Library, on Friday, Oct. 11 from 6:30-8 p.m. This annual event welcomes families dressed in costumes to enjoy the different stations that include activities and crafts, free snow corns and popcorn. Families are asked to bring a treat to share with others such as bulk Halloween candy, stickers, tattoos or small child friendly toys. In addition, used books will be available to swap.
Downtown St. Cloud Scarecrow Fest takes place on Saturday, Oct. 12 starting at 10 a.m. Enjoy the day exploring, businesses will have a variety of photo opportunities with scarecrow themes. In addition to the Fall selfie opportunities and fun family pictures you will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite business.
The Rotary Club of St. Cloud presents Casino Cash Bash on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 5-9 p.m. The ticket, which is a donation, includes access to a variety of casino games including blackjack, poker, roulette and more. Tickets also include a stash of chips, cash prize drawings and hors d’oeuvres.
The proceeds from this event funds local projects within the community. Casino Cash Bash will be held at the St. Cloud VFW Post 3227, 915 New York Ave. For more information, email events@rotaryclubofstcloudfl. org.
The City of St. Cloud presents Fall Festival on Oct. 12-13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Ranch at St. Cloud (5452 Jones Road) Admission is $10. Enjoy a corn maze, rides, games, music, crafts, vendors, food, beer and wine and more.
It’s back—more terrifying than ever. Trail of Terror: Ripped from the Silver Screen will be held at Peghorn Park, 2101 Peghorn Way. The dates for this Halloween tradition are: Oct, 18-19 and Oct. 2526 from 8-11 p.m. Tickets are available online at www. webtrac.stcloudfl.gov.
Want to have some Halloween fun? Put on your best costume, dress up your personal or company vehicle and join the City of St. Cloud’s Trunk or Treat at Hopkins Park, 620 E. 17th St. on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is a great opportunity to advertise a business or upcoming event while giving out candy and prizes to the trunk or treaters. The St. Cloud Women’s Club Heritage Museum is now a drop off site location for “St. Cloud Cares”, a network of local churches working with St. Cloud Elementary Schools to provide food for children at risk of going hungry over the weekend during the school year. Drop off hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Care Pack Shopping List includes macaroni and cheese, instant oatmeal, grape jelly, granola or fruit bars, pudding cups, Vienna sausage, peanut butter crackers, apple sauce cups, spaghetti sauce, pasta, chicken noodle or tomato soup, ravioli, beefaroni, spaghetti-o cans, flavored rice, ramen noodles, tuna or chicken cans and peanut butter. The St. Cloud Women’s Club Heritage Museum is located at 1014 Massachusetts Ave.
