Celebrating 10 years of scaring St. Cloud, the Trail of Terror opens up its frightening pathway with a walk-through of Peghorn Nature Park (2101 Peghorn Way). It runs the next two Fridays and Saturdays from 8-11 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. Do the Mash! The Monster Mash! The Monster Mash will be held at The Ranch at St. Cloud (5452 Jones Rd.) on Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a Halloween dance for children ages 2-13. There will be Trick or Treating, games and more. The costume contest will be divided into groups; kids level, adult level and group entries. Tickets are $5 per person. Downtown St. Cloud is the place to be on Oct. 30 for young and old. Bring the kids to downtown St. Cloud for Trick or Treating with local merchants from 5-7 p.m., then bring the kiddies home, tuck them in, find a sitter and come back downtown for A Night of Witches and Maniacs. The German Witches Dance Competition at Phyre Brewery and Tavern (918 New York Ave.) will begin at 8 p.m. This competition is for adults 18 and over. The group has been practicing and is ready to compete! There will be prizes for Best Costume, Best Dancer and Best Decorated Broom.
At 9 p.m., the Historic Ghost Tour will begin at the Brewery. The night of Witches and Maniacs wraps up at 10 p.m. with a screening of the movie “2000 Maniacs” at the St. Cloud Twin (1111 10th St.) Did you know 2000 Maniacs was filmed right here in St. Cloud? This 1964 American Horror film follows a group of Northern tourists who are savagely tortured and murdered during a Confederate celebration of a small Southern community’s Centennial. Wreaths Across America’s Mobile Education Exhibit will be coming to St. Cloud on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Centennial Park (1214 10th St.). The Exhibit represents the mission of sharing information about Veterans and those who serve our Country and how everybody can play a part in remembering and honoring them. Exhibit tours are free and open to the public.
