Poinciana News — At the Library: buy some crafts, play a ukuleke, give blood

Check out the local artisans at the Poinciana Library’s Crafters Fair. The Crafters Fair takes place Saturday from 1-4 p.m. Discover beautiful handmade items available for purchase. This event will be held the Library’s Multi-Purpose Room.

Start a musical journey with the four-part series Ukulele Basics, beginning on Thursday, March 2 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Learn to tune, strum and pluck in this series which wraps up with a recital for your family and friends. Bring your own ukulele or play one of the 10 classroom’s ukuleles available to use.

Centennial Bank presents Home Buyer Education at the library on Tuesday, March 7 at 6 p.m. Learn the A-B-C’s of the home buying process and take your financial future in a new direction.

The next Community Blood Drive at the library will be on Wednesday, Mar. 29 from 1-6 p.m. OneBlood’s Big Red Bus will be onsite to receive donations.For more information, go to OneBlood.org.
