There’s still time left to nominate your or a neighbor’s home for the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) Annual Poinciana Beautiful Awards. The awards program is an opportunity to recognize homeowners who have kept their homes exterior well maintained and cared for throughout the year. Poinciana Beautiful is in its sixth year. One home from each Village is chosen by a group of independent judges. The annual Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala will be on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.

Visit found informational stations celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Discover his powerful speeches and photographs of his life. Those who show proof of participation to Library staff will receive a commemorative pin (while supplies last).
Take and Make: Wizarding House Coaster is on Wednesday, Jan. 4 during library hours (while supplies last) Bring the colors of your favorite Wizard house to your house by creating a reusable drink coaster. Take and Make kits are available. Recommended supplies are a wooden craft circle, two colors of yarn, glue and scissors.

Home School Bookworms meets on Jan. 9 from 2-3 p.m. Home schoolers can meet new friends while exploring a different book each month. Registration is required. The Lego Club is back at the Library! This program is for children up to age 11. Build a Lego masterpiece using your imagination and engineering skills. Complete one of the Library’s challenges or make something uniquely yours.
