The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 5 will hold a community event seeking feedback concerning the intersection of the famed John Young Parkway and Pleasant Hill Road/ Hoagland Boulevard intersection.

Currently, FDOT is working with local stakeholders to determine a design which best fits the needs of the community. Potential improvement alternatives and designs will be presented at this event.

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital will present a ‘Lunch and Learn’ on Wednesday, May 24 from 12-1 p.m. Dr. Saqib Gowani will present an overview of cardio-vascular disease in adults, including impact, symptoms, testing and treatment. A light lunch will be served. This event will be held at HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital, 325 Cypress Pkwy.
