Osceola Friends of the Library will be hosting a mega Book Sale this week, May 18-20, at the Poinciana Library, (101 N. Doverplum Ave.) This is an amazing opportunity to support your reading habits and expand your own home library at a good price.

It’s $3 to fill a bag (grocery store size), $.25 for paperbacks and children’s books and $.50 for hardcover books. Friends of the Library bags are available for $2 each. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

The sale is open Thursday 12-5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The “Friends” consist of Osceola County citizens interested and concerned with promoting service and literacy for their libraries and communities. Proceeds made in these book sales go back to the library in support of programs and events. Their mission is to build a partnership with the Library and the community through literacy.
