The Osceola Historical Society presented its 29th annual Pioneer Day on Saturday in celebration of Osceola County’s first residents and the pioneering spirit of the late 19th century. This year’s event featured a kids’ craft zone, a real Florida Market, and pioneer and Seminole life demonstrations.

Bands Sandy Back Porch and Justin Mason and Blue Night provided live entertainment throughout the day. A crowd was on hand to enjoy the arts, crafts, and food. Pioneer Village is part of Shingle Creek Regional Park, operated by Osceola County and is part of a complex of adjacent and nearby parks and public lands along Shingle Creek operated by the City of Kissimmee.
