Pinktoberfest rescheduled for Nov. 26

Pinktoberfest 2022, presented by Pink Heals St. Cloud and Logan Smith, takes place Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lakefront Park. Pinktoberfest’s goal is to raise awareness and support those battling any type of cancer. This fundraising day of awareness is sponsored by Shamrock Auto Body, Humana, KISS, Neptune Chiropractic and Wellness, Orlando Health – St. Cloud Hospital and the City of St. Cloud and boasts many activities. There will be raffles, vendors, a bounce house and a fire truck pull competition. Come out and help support our community cancer warriors.

 

After a one-week delay due to Hurricane Ian, Partin Ranch Corn Maze Fall Festival gets started this weekend. This annual fall festival south of St. Cloud is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 6. General admission is $12 for ages 3 and up, a season pass is $20 and kids 2 and under are free. Discount admission is given to seniors ages 65 and up, military and spouse and first responders and spouse.

The Partin Ranch Corn Maze is located at 5601 N. Canoe Creek Road in Kenansville.

 

The St. Cloud Women’s Club Heritage Museum will hold it’s next meeting on Oct. 19 at noon at the Women’s Club (1014 Massachusetts Ave.) Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch – beverages and dessert will be served. The business meeting will follow the lunch. Interesting and diverse speakers are scheduled for each meeting.

Get ready – St. Cloud Parks and Recreation will present Trail of Terror - FREAK SHOW on Oct 21-22 and 28-29 from 81 11 p.m. The annual Trail of Terror is at Peghorn Park (2101 Peg Horn Way) and takes you on a haunted trail. Trail of Terror maybe too scary for younger children.

 

Quilting in the Cloud happens every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud Library (810 13th St.) Join other local quilting enthusiasts and create a beautiful handmade quilt. Limited quilting supplies are available.

 

There will be two opportunities in the month of October to be a hero and save a life by donating blood. OneBlood’s Big Red Bus will be on site at the Library on Oct. 24 from 12-5 p.m. and Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For the safety of donors and staff, face coverings must be worn to donate.
