Little League Spring 2021 registration has begun in Poinciana

Play Ball! Poinciana Little League Spring 2021 registration has begun. Registration fees are: $125 per child, $5 family discount for siblings. Early bird registration, before Nov. 27, is $110. A $15 late fee will be charged for registration between Jan. 1 and Feb. 12.

The Division Ages are – T-ball, 4 to 6 years old, Coach pitch, 6 to 8 years old, Minors, 8-10 years old, Majors, 10 to 12 years old and Intermediate, 11 to 13 years old. To register, you need the registration fee, birth certificate and proof of residency or school enrollment. Sponsorships may be available for those who qualify. You now have two opportunities to play Bingo in Poinciana. Friday Night Bingo is at the Poinciana Community Center, 445 Marigold Ave. and Saturday Night Bingo is at the Mary Jane Arrington Gym and Aquatic Center, 625 Country Club Drive. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the games beginning at 7 p.m. Concessions are available. This is for ages 18 and up. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Osceola Community Health Services, 109 Doverplum Ave., will be providing free COVID-19 and antibody testing on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 407-943-8600.

Poinciana Medical Center, 325 Cypress Parkway, will be the site for free COVID-19 testing. This walkup or drive-through COVID-19 screening will be on Monday, Nov. 30, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The Big Red Bus will be back at the Poinciana Community Center, 445 Marigold Ave., on Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All donors will receive a free OneBlood fleece blanket and $10 e-gift card. Most importantly, donors will receive a wellness checkup including a COVID-19 antibody test, blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.
