In two weeks, it’s back … your Friday night Movie in the Park!
In partnership with the City of Kissimmee, Kissimmee Utility Authority will host its free Movie in the Park event on Oct. 1 on the Veteran’s lawn at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. The event kicks off KUA’s annual 6-month Movie in the Park series held on the first Friday of every month, running through March.
The October movie will be Disney’s “Raya and the Last Dragon,” shown on a giant 50-foot screen. The movie will also feature closed captioning for the hearing impaired.
Come for the movie, and stay for KUA’s inflatable Kids Power Zone, a craft station, photo booth, free popcorn, and prize giveaways. Onsite concessions will be available.
Through hands-on KUA demonstrations, attendees will also learn how to lower their monthly electric bills. The event begins 5:30 p.m., with the movie starting at 7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chairs or blankets.
