Kissimmee News — Despite Fire Brigade cancelation, plenty to do around town Saturday

The Antique and Modern Fire Apparatus Show and flea market to be held at the Osceola County Fire Training Center in Kissimmee on Saturday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. has been canceled, per the Florida Antique Bucket Brigade.

But, there's still fun to be had around town Saturday! Come take a picture with the Easter Bunny and join in an Easter Egg hunt at the Spring Eggstravaganza, a free community event on April 1 at the Florida Technical College from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3831 West Vine Street, Kissimmee.

The Friends of the Buenaventura Library will host a book sale from 12-4 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It’s at the Buenaventura Lakes Branch Library in Kissimmee. Fill a plastic grocery bag with books for $3.

 

Expand your reading palette at the “Book Tasting” for adults at the Hart Memorial Library Thursday, April 6 from 6-7:30 p.m.. Also this week, join other adults for “Chaotic Game Night on Tuesday, April 4 from 6-7 p.m.
